I'm a little leprechaun dressed in green.
Hiding in the shamrocks
I can't be seen.
If you run and catch me,
do you know,
you can have my pot of gold!

Today we did a guided drawing lesson on how to draw a leprechaun. The children followed along and step by step drew their own version of a cute little leprechaun just in time for St. Patrick's Day. These drawings go along with our new poem of the week.

I am so proud of my class they all did such an awesome job performing in our circus today! We hope those of you who were able to make it to the "show" enjoyed our songs, poems and circus acts! Enjoy the photos below. Click on the photos tab above to see more photos. ::)
(We were very sad our strongman was sick today. Thanks to our Lion Tamer for filling in at the last minute! Strongman we hope you are feeling better soon! ) After a few weeks of learning about the circus, The Kindergarten class has been working hard to get ready for our very own circus performance. On Tuesday the children illustrated a picture of his or her act in our circus. These drawings became part of our circus train art project. If you are not able to see the train "parked" in our hallway, please see the photos below. The Kindergarten Circus is Thursday, March 10th at 10:30 in the Gym.
