It seems like we have been so busy lately with "special occassions" popping up every couple of days. It was very nice to get back into our regular schedule today. We FINALLY got a chance to explore with water and wood. We used eye droppers in science today to move a small amount of water from one place to another. The children discovered that water is absorbed into wood. The children also figured out that our mittens absorb water from all of the puddles on the playground at recess. ~ How fun it is to learn a new word (absorb) and realize we can use it later in the day too. :)
Take a peek at our Kindergarten Scientists in action. They also discovered that when wood gets really wet it somtimes sticks to other pieces of wet wood.
