This week I had the children work in small groups to illustrate the Last Supper. Their drawings turned out cute. The conversations they had as they worked were amazing. The children discussed many different things that they thought may have been happening at the Last Supper. On group drew Mary peeking through the window with tears running down her face because "she was so sad about how some people were being so mean to her son". It touched my heart to see how thoughtful they were being about what they were drawiing.
We also spent time working on some Math Easter Egg Stations. The children enjoyed "chick addition" & sorting eggs to see which numbers could be shared or divided by 2. (They love getting their pictures taken when they are working so hard!!)
